Our organic ginger cubes (medical marshmallows), made from purely plant-based gum arabic (from the African Acacia Senegal tree), harmonize

Our GINJER® ginger cubes (originally from the French “PÂTE DE GUIMAUVE” or medical marshmallow) are made from purely plant-based, certified organic gum arabic from the African Acacia Senegal tree.
Throughout the world this plant is used for the production of medicines and other health-related products.
In the GINJER® ginger cubes, the gum arabic harmonizes particularly well with the sensory profile of the added ginger extract. The aromatic profile and the high-quality ginger extract, produced by means of CO2 extraction, exert the well-known beneficial effects of ginger in the mouth and the subsequent digestion process.
Due to their great dietary fiber content (>85 % fiber of the Acacia according to AOAC method 1), our GINJER® ginger cubes contribute to a high dietary fiber enrichment.
GINJER® ginger cubes are made of whipped gum arabic paste, for which the high-quality, certified organic ingredients are mixed step by step. It is vital to keep the exact order of mixing because this allows us to add air to the paste in a special extrusion process. This is how GINJER® ginger cubes subsequently receive their soft texture.
Our CO2 GINJER® ginger extract (see also GINJER® ginger drops) and natural orange flavor are added to the paste which is then poured onto wooden trays covered in starch. After a few days of drying, the paste is cut into cubes and packaged.
This process combines traditional craftsmanship and semi-industrial manufacturing in an extraordinary way. Originally derived from written accounts, the production method has been adapted to fit with modern food production demands.
